About us

Tagg Furniture was founded in 1979 by Roland Tagg, a graduate of the London College of Furniture. From humble beginnings in a converted barn, we have grown into a 20-strong Harpenden based team - combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to create furniture of the highest quality. 

We specialise in bespoke furniture for clients who value exceptional design, attention to detail, and lasting quality. From one-off commissions to full interior fit-outs, we design, manufacture, and install across a wide range of domestic and commercial projects. 

Our work spans kitchens, bedrooms, libraries, wine rooms, reception areas, boardrooms, retail spaces, hospitals, museums and more - crafted using a broad palette of sustainably sourced materials. 

Collaborating closely with clients, designers, and architects, we manage every stage of the process - from concept through to final installation - with care and precision. 

At our core, we are designer-makers. We take pride in the integrity of our craft and in creating exceptional pieces of furniture that elevate the spaces they inhabit.
